The childrens centre required a canopy to offer both shade in the direct sunlight and also a dry area in the rain.
The canopy was constructed with a steel frame and included aluminium glazing bars to the roof with 16mm structured polycarbonate. To create the coloured panels external grade translucent coloured vinyl was added to the underside of the panels.
